Here are two recent clips from MEGA DISASTERS on the History Channel.

John did the miniature visual effects elements for the series. He loves the challenge of in-camera effect shots. Here are two examples.

John made extensive use of "cloud tanks" durring the production. This shot was shot in John's tank over a digi-green cyc. The car and pyroclastic flow are filmed together underwater and the background added with simply key effect -- no CGI. Here is a PYROCLASTIC FLOW

A good example of an in-camera effect is this miniature of the Cape Hatteras lighthouse being hit with a tsunami. LIGHTHOUSE? This was a slow-motion shot with no computer additions.
