"THE ZEN OF WHITE"

RENALDI: You spoke of a balance, a spiritual balance?
WHITE: There is a gap between the spiritual self and the physical self. When a person loses touch with their spiritual side they soon fall into conflict with themselves over misunderstanding the intent of their goals, their observations and their real needs. The mind is an antenna for information that is felt, but not spoken. Wisdom then is the coming together of the physical and spiritual self with a broad understanding of these qualities and the patience to teach others. The flowing, restful exchange of truth.
A wise person can see this. A wise person can look at a miss-behaving child, or a miss-behaving adult and see the same frustration. The most miraculous and sensitive antenna is frustrated trying to work in this dimension, on this plane. The commands are profound, but unfortunately the operating system is primitive. As an adult loses touch with his or her spirituality, they soon feel overwhelmed with a sense of drowning. They feel that they only exist on this plane and they panic. Selfish, desperate greed motivates their every move. They are too caught up in the pursuit of material and physical things to realize that they don’t need any of it. Each dollar of the spiritual self that they lose they try and repay with a dollar of material security. But the material dollars are not legal tender; they carry no true value. And so the physical self becomes obsessed with the pursuit of these counterfeit dollars. Soon to admit that these dollars were worthless becomes too terrifying. It would be like a country starting a Monday morning and deciding that nothing would have any value. It would be chaos. Physical things coordinate life on this plane. We need traffic lights to keep from crashing into each other. But a traffic light isn’t how you understand who you are.
RENALDI went on to discuss a personal
matter with White. Later in the conversation they spoke about creativity

WHITE: Creativity is creating order out of chaos.
RENALDI: Explain
WHITE: Art is everywhere: science, geometry, medicine, computer programming, painting, sculpture, literature, teaching, music, cinema, theater, too many to mention. Art is the successful transition from universal to physical. It is the human using their instrument and doing what they know is true and pure. They are flowing with the universe and sharing in the enjoyment of life on this planet.
RENALDI: Only the living, enjoying the life of this planet.
WHITE: Sometimes through death people can still communicate with you and continue their relationship. Other times your relatives are only part of you journey. When it is time to pass to the next phase then you may outgrow them. The times when families split apart has more to do with the conflicts between spirit and physical rather than interpersonal. A physical self may become frightened into denial when faced with cruelty and others misdirected anger. They perpetuate the denial by parroting the anger. Soon it seems like there is no way back, and they carve a lonely life of manipulation and deceit - - always afraid that their choking spiritual side will be discovered.
But the root of much of these misunderstanding falls
on the inability of the physical self to carry out the mission of the soul.
The internal frustration and anger becomes directed outward in the ultimate
version of "do as I say, not as I do." After someone passes from this plane,
if we still communicate with them we clearly see this paradox for what
it is. The person is not trying to be contradictory, they are unable to
guide the spiritual forces through their physical channels.
THE MESSENGER, THE MESSAGE:
At first there was the message and that was all.
The message was perverted by greed.
Greed is fear and the procreative force is nuclear.
the egos latched on to the message. If you had the
message than you had power. Today our newspapers and television station
are building up their illusion of power through the presentation of the
message. Their worst fear is that people will want to get the message from
somewhere else. Well that is human nature to search of messages. Even if
we feel that we are getting all of the information that we need we push
on. Children push past parents, parents past news agencies, and everyone
is sending messages on all channels all of the time. We need to listen
differently.
In the ocean a wave moves a colony of plankton. Each
member of the colony moves, not together but in unison. The plankton all
assimilate the change, they take what nutrients that they need from the
wave and they move on to the next place. This is the system as it exists
in nature, as it existed in man.
Now let us suppose that a few of the plankton decided
to get together and take advantage of the wave by "brokering" the wave.
These few plankton would impede the progress of the wave and begin to dole
it out parcel by parcel. They might be able to come together and stop the
wave momentarily, only releasing bits of the wave at a time. Now the innocent
plankton would think that these other plankton were special, after all
they seem to have the control of the universe at their fingertips. Soon
other plankton, want to pitch in and help, because it’s one sure way to
guarantee a piece of the wave. Plankton are not especially strong and a
few of them get killed putting up resistance to the wave. You might think
that this would stop the plankton but it actually has the reverse effect.
If plankton were willing to die for this cause then there must really mean
something. The original plankton were now giants, commanding respect. The
brokers become more righteous and frightened as time goes by. They realize
how thin that their charade is and that it’s only a matter of time.
Now we look at this group of plankton and we see them as being foolish. They fight and squabble over ocean waves and they don’t have enough sense to realize that they are going to feel the effects of the wave with or without the brokers.
RENALDI: We are not plankton -- we should have more sense.
WHITE: That's right! News events move through the human population the same way except that a few people broker the information. Now if you could remove the information brokers and had a truly free exchange on information you would have a population that would travel the greatest distance through the universe, growing, changing, exchanging nutrients -- living up to the potential of life.
WHITE: If you really want to make a decision than you must see yourself in the present, and be aware of yourself in the past and future.
REBALDI: How can the ordinary person do this?
WHITE: The past is still there as if it were the smoke left behind a skywriter. As the brain the brain stack information in three dimensions. So in effect it is reality. Humans are limited by preconceptions based upon input from the five senses. You must release the preconceptions to grow.
As we design computer codes we are trying to create an operating system that will bridge this gap between the spiritual and physical self. Already there is code which has unlocked the mechanisms of human emotion.
