At the onset of the war the 1019 foot ship was painted gray and used as a troop transport. What the troops didn't understand was that the Allied Navies were so weakened by the Germans that they were forced into taking desperate measures. These measures Included running down enemy ships with the Queen. The luxury liner is credited with 24 kills during the war. The incident in the secret photo series is of an unlucky the German mine sweeper.
